Long Answer
1. As a speech/essay, the narration style is a first-person perspective from the narrator’s (i.e., Adichie’s) perspective. Adichie relies heavily on pathos and ethos in her essay, with a focus on emotional appeal through describing personal humorous encounters, and a focus on her expertise on the subject by discussing her background from Nigeria and the US when discussing these countries generally.
